Inspection Report Repair List: How Matly Turns It Into Materials
Upload an inspection report and Matly generates a complete materials list for every flagged item. Here's what to expect.
What Matly extracts from an inspection
Matly parses every line of a home inspector's PDF and identifies repair items — GFCI outlets, missing grout, damaged flashing, HVAC issues. It groups by trade (plumbing, electrical, roofing) and produces a materials list for each. Safety items (gas, panel, structural) are flagged with a licensed-pro recommendation.
What Matly does NOT do
Matly does not tell you which repairs are 'must-fix' vs. 'nice-to-have.' That's a conversation between you and your inspector or contractor. Matly's job is materials planning — so you know what you'd need if you decide to fix it.
Typical output
A 30-item inspection turns into ~60–120 material items across 4–7 trades. Each item includes reason, quantity, and 1–3 product recommendations at your preferred stores.
